History

As a refugee, I came to the United States with my family in 1993, and since being saved by Jesus at the age of 15, I have been serving the Lord.

In 1994, my brother Haik Hovsepian Mehr  , who was the Church leader for all Protestant churches in Iran, was killed by Iranian fundamental terrorists. This tragic event led to my involvement in sharing my testimony about persecution in Iran and my life story to many churches in America and other countries. For documentation of his story, you can visit "Cry from Iran" on Youtube.

Undaunted by the trials I faced, my determination remained steadfast. Guided by unwavering faith, my pregnant wife, two young daughters, and I embarked on a perilous escape from Iran, seeking refuge as refugees. The journey was fraught with danger and uncertainty, yet we persevered, a testament to the strength of the human spirit. My enduring faith shone through, serving as a guiding light even in the darkest of times. Through this journey, I have emerged as a living testament to the transformative power of faith and the resilience of the human spirit.

As a dedicated pastor and captivating speaker, I have had the privilege of gracing the pulpits of countless churches throughout America, where I have shared the compelling narratives of Christian persecution in Iran. My own poignant story - one of courage, unwavering faith, and resolute endurance - serves as a beacon of hope and resilience to those who hear it. Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the Iran-Iraq war, my extraordinary life journey unfolds, intricately woven with threads of outreach and devotion. Amidst the upheaval of that era, I embarked on a perilous mission to extend the reach of Christianity to Muslims, defying imminent dangers and eventually enduring a stark 28-day period of solitary confinement, a poignant reminder of the risks of challenging prevailing norms.

Our ministry includes an Iranian church among Iranian Armenian and Afghan people, which has grown and prospered with the help of the Lord. We have also started a satellite ministry in December 2015 that broadcasts directly to Iran, other Middle Eastern countries, European countries, and the U.S., which includes teaching and preaching from myself and occasionally other pastors and guest speakers. The feedback we receive shows the scope of our outreach, and we are starting a new ministry by radio program to help Iranian and Afghan ladies who were abused by fundamental Muslims.

My brother George and his family are serving in Glendale, and he has a new church with 300 Iranians and Armenians.

The Lord has used my calling as a church planter abundantly, and our church ministry has revitalized a church in Las Vegas, NV, and started a church in West hills CA, both serving the Iranian, Muslim communities in these regions.

I appreciate your prayers and support for my family in Iran. Thank you again for your support and prayers.
